Juut Salon came to the RM House today! Several of the stylists from this high-end salon donated their time and services to the families of the House. Justin and I took advantage of this opportunity to get free haircuts (long overdue for justin) and massages. It was absolutely wonderful, and we both got some of the best haircuts we've ever had! They were such a great group of people for coming to love on us the way they did. It was much appreciated by all of us at the Ronald McDonald House. Thank you Juut!

And after Mama and Daddy had their spa experience, Primary Nurse Debbie decided to create one for Miss Moriah tonight. She searched the unit and finally found something big enough to stick Moriah in so that she could enjoy her first bath in over 7 months!

...and she's more interested in the Laker game on tv...Nurse Tegan says she's an LA girl through and through =)

Here's to a day of pampering for the Nelson Fam

Love to you all!!!!

This SO made me cry! I am so happy that you were able to get pampered. What a blessing that had to be! Even Miss Moriah had her moment! Thank you for sharing this, it made my day!
Sounds like a great day! Glad you all had a chance to relax. The people/organizations that donate their time/resources to RMH are amazing!

Love the haircuts! What a special nurse to think of that for Moriah. She must really love those kiddos she works with and God is certainly using her. Moriah looks so sweet in the tub. It's amazing what a little water can do for the spirit.
That is just amazing!! You both look great and Moriah looks so happy to have a bath.
Hugs,
Crystal and Eva
In my opinion, a good haircut is the perfect little pick-me-up. You guys look adorable (as always) :-).
I am so tickled by Moriah's bath - SO SO cute! What a lovely nurse to create that fun experience for M.
I LOVE that bathtub...what a sweet nurse!!
(I'm writing her name down to remember for future visits!)
How awesome to get hair cuts at RMH...and then see your princess splashing away in that bucket!...just brings tears to my eyes!!!
I hope you have a wonderful Monday!

I am so happy that you guys got some pampering. Love the new haircut Justin. Don't forget to exfoliate.
Love you
Jenna
your hair is beautiful!!!! and justin's is too (though, he'd probably hate it if i called it beautiful for him). i LOVE the pictures of moriah getting her bath! that is too cute. we hope to try visiting you again and not come when you're not there!!
We love Justin's new hairstyle. Now he can't be Clown? Too bad, huh?
And we LOVE Moriah's tub. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. I'm sure she needed it! 7 months! :)
We have a priceless picture of Alexis (at 4lbs) with her first bath in the little pink wash basin. When she was in the hospital for surgery at 9months, we put her in the same wash basin and she did NOT fit. I would have loved to see how much of Moriah could fit into the pink wash basin.
Love the photos, hope you all enjoyed the Nelson-spa-day.

you three soo deserved a day of pampering. love your hair vic. and i bet moriah was a ham in the water.
I bet that felt wonderful to be pampered and taken care of like that for a little bit. How nice of that salon to donate their services to such a deserving place. I love the fact that Moriah got to enjoy a bath also. The pictures are too cute. Definitely a keeper to put in an album someday.
Glad to see she is still feeling better.
My prayers continue for all of you each and every day.
