Okay, so transfer might not happen tomorrow. The PICU at CHLA is completely full. BUT, we might transfer her to Huntington Memorial's PICU, which would actually be much more convenient for us because it is so close to our home.
Dr. Shin is calling their Attending to see if they can accomodate Moriah with all of her needs. If they can, then Huntington, here we come!
Let's see where God puts us...

- Justin and Victoria Nelson
- We are high school sweethearts who grew up in Southern California. We both graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder (yes, we know we look like we're 12 years old =) ), and got married going into our senior year of college on May 29, 2005. On January 23rd, 2008, we received our gift, Moriah Sarjit Nelson. Moriah was born with a complex Congenital Heart Defect and CHARGE syndrome. She is our first child, and continues to be the greatest blessing we have received. This website is dedicated to her, and the journey she continues to travel (more details below in Our Story).

Just read your update. I'm sure it must be frustrating for this to be up in the air right now. Prayers heading up! God's timing is perfect and he is in control. You already know this though. Keep your courage up!

Thinking and praying for all of you. I feel so strongly that God will put you where he feels is best for Moriah. So wonderful to put all our trust in Him. It can help relieve decision making just a "little." I'm so happy to hear all the wonderful news. I'm sure it comes with many emotions to be leaving (new friends and the love you have experienced) but you will take it with you and it will remain in your heart. It's been your home for so long. I will continue to pray for the transition. Miss you friends.
