A twister has come through the Nelson household for the month of January!!!
I can hardly keep up with everything that has gone on, and that is continuing to take place.
Moriah and Jadon have become double trouble, and at times, Justin and I feel like we have twins.
They are both learning to eat
And move around more (I can't believe I have 2 kidz...I'm like a legit Mom now =)
Jadon finally got his own vent tubing because he wouldn't stop playing with his sister's
And Moriah has started back up at preschool with Nurse Sharon
Nurse Elaine is now doing evening shifts for us. Woohoo!! (please do not look at Jadon's disgusting bib)
Phew! These kids are running me and Justin ragged.
A brief medical update on Moriah:
She has a Cardiology appointment this week, and once the Anesthesiologist sees that her echo results are fine, they will proceed with doing an MRI on her spine. This is scheduled via Urology, so that they can see if this is the cause of her chronic UTI's. We have taken M to Urgent Care more than 10 times in the past 5 months for her UTI's =(
We are praying that this can be resolved...and soon!
We also have been busy meeting with families both at LPCH and CRC. We feel like we can always make time to give back and be a support. It's what so many of you did for us...
This Mama, Amanda, and her beautiful baby girl, Makyla, have been so very much on our hearts. Please join us in praying that Makyla can be strong enough to be off the ventilator so that she can go home. Amanda lives 2 hours away, works full time, is raising her older daughter, and is making several trips a week to be with Makyla. Their situation is a sobering reminder of what tough really looks like. Our family's heart and prayers are with Amanda right now, who is seriously the strongest Mama we know, as well as with Makyla, who has taken over the Diva role at CRC...look at that fabulous bow!
(Moriah was too much of a Diva that day to even be in the picture...but that girl was still rockin' her Pinkalicious tutu)
But, maybe she was being a Diva because she face planted at preschool and had swollen lips from an allergic reaction to pineapple? I probably would have been the same way.
I can't believe this little girl has her 4th Birthday coming up on January 23rd. Is this for reals?!?!
However, we will be postponing her party because we will be moving! And then Justin is traveling to Europe for work for several weeks.
Now can you see the Nelson twister? =)
Hope you have milder weather on your end.
Love,
Victoria

I love this blog and it is so cute with the pictures and the "twin" situation, you do have your hands full and so thankful for your help. Hoping your move goes smoothly and they can get Moriah's stuff figured out. I can't believe she is almost 4! She is a blessing and a gift for sure.
