"oof" for woof
"eesh" for cheese
"ooo" for moo
and you make this gurgle in the back of your throat for a duck sound.
You love to turn on your sister's feeding pump every chance you get.
You are becoming a little clingy with Mommy. I'm not enjoying the clinginess when it's 5:30 in the morning and you've woken up, but luckily, this is not too often.
I love that you know me, and know that I will comfort you.
You love to wrestle with your Daddy, and do "eeeelllbooows."
You hug your sister, and recently started giving her kisses like we do.
You continue to be very busy.
I tell you that you're 1 going on 5.
You still only have 6 teeth, but the others are starting to break through.
You wear size 18-24 month clothes.
You grab your shoes every time I ask you to find them, and you say "oosh, oosh." You have monstrous feet, and are a size 5 wide at Striderite. I don't think that's normal for your age? =)
You have added another trip with Daddy under your belt. It was your longest plane ride thus far, compliments of Kum Mike and Kuma Amy, and it was to Mommy and Daddy's alma mater, in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. Go Buffs!
This past month, we have switched you completely over to whole milk, and you haven't been tolerating it at all. We are now switching you to soy, and you're doing better.
Overall, your eating habits have improved, and I can say you now enjoy cherry tomatoes, sprouted wheat and honey muffins, smoked salmon, black beans, pizza, and anything else we can get you to try.
Our local Trader Joe's knows you, and high-fives you when you go with me every week. They also give you stickers that you end up putting in your mouth. I don't have the heart to tell them no...and it keeps you distracted for five seconds before you start signing "more" to me to have everything in the store. I've learned to keep you in the center of the aisle very well or else everything happens to go in our shopping cart or on the floor.
Happy 14 months, sweet Jadon. We love you with all our hearts.

he is so cute...and he knows how to keep mommy busy!
Precious boy!! Calvin has started doing the "let's pull out all the wipes" thing recently, too. Never thought I'd have to hide those! Calvin has 4.5W feet in Stride Rite shoes, so he's not far behind Jado!! It's so fun watching our sons grow. <3
Gotta love those busy boys. Soooo cute!
