3 years ago today, I never would have guessed that we would be where we are today.
You have been such a blessing and joy, and have taught us the true meaning of what it means to walk by faith.
I never knew I could love someone so much, and have my heart so intertwined with yours. While it has been one of the most trying journeys I've ever experienced, it has also been the most rewarding thing to be able to have you in my life.
Each and every day, I marvel over the miracle you are. 3 years ago, I was a very scared soon-to-be Mommy, unsure if I was equipped to be the parent of such a special little girl. Today, I can see that God has created you so perfectly to be my daughter, and me to be your Mom.
When you were only 5 days old, God gave this verse to me - just for you. It is one of the few moments where I have heard Him so loudly and clearly.
It is my prayer for you, my beautiful angel...
O LORD, YOU ALONE ARE MY HOPE. I'VE TRUSTED YOU, O LORD, FROM CHILDHOOD.YES, YOU HAVE BEEN WITH ME FROM BIRTH;FROM MY MOTHER'S WOMB YOU HAVE CARED FOR ME. NO WONDER I AM ALWAYS PRAISING YOU! MY LIFE IS AN EXAMPLE TO MANY, BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN MY STRENGTH AND PROTECTION. THAT IS WHY I CAN NEVER STOP PRAISING YOU; I DECLARE YOUR GLORY ALL DAY LONG." PSALM 71:5-8
You have come such a long way in three years, making your Daddy and I so, so proud. We cherish each of our days with you and with one another as a family. There are certain people that God puts in our lives in order to teach us these invaluable lessons - what a privilege and honor that you are one of them !
